1st season rust (no spring training)?
If I sign a guy just days before the start of the first (MLB quickstart) season, will he be rusty since he didn't participate in a Spring Training?

From my experience yes. I just signed 2 FA's 50 games into the season and both struggled their 1st 12 games. 1st 12 games combined .235 2 HR 7 RBI Last 15 games. .421 6 HR 27 RBI 4 SB (only one guy can run) They each have 3 HR.

It sure looks that way to me but I have only done it a handful of times so it could just be small sample size.
