Playing the game away from the US

Hello, I'm trying to buy this game, but the website doesn't allow me to get the license.
I'm in Europe.

Is this possible?
Is there the possibility to get a DVD?
What if an american friend buys the license and give it to me?

Hi, i`m from the Netherlands and i have bought almost every version, so it is possible if you are in Europe. I always use my creditcard to buy the game and i never had any problem with it..

There is no country where it did not work and I could fix the problem

There might have been a problem with the credit card I used for the first purchase attempt.
When used a different credit card (an american one) it worked immediately.

Maybe the first failed attempt was just an issue with the bank.

When deployed to Afghanistan I had the same problem. I had to contact customer support and go through some steps to get it working.
