autoplay stuck
Im in the off-season (december) and tring to sim a week but the simulation seems to be stuck. I can sim 1 day, but if I try any more than that it just keeps looping or simming.
Never had this problem . I just took over another team during the off-season ( took the Jays expansion team), so im not sure if this is the reason. Really annoying. |

I'm having this issue also in one of my 8 saved games. I did not just start with a new team. I did delete the Rookie league in that saved game and that league is referenced in the messages that are displayed during the loop.
Sorry if this should be in some other thread. |

Thanks for posting this problem. I haven't seen any issues of this sort reported before so I can post this as a bug, but I need you 2 to do your part to help. You need to zip or rar your saved games .dat files and ftp them to us. Just follow the directions here:
How to FTP files to OOTP Developments - Kayako eSupport Help Desk Software Then post the name of your file you ftp'd here and I'll report it. These files are a MUST if it is to get fixed cuase if Markus can't reproduce it, it won't. So he needs these files. Thanks again for posting. |

The file is there and is named Rawapa.zip.
I sim one day at a time during the season and that always works, so you may have to sim past the playoffs and then try to auto-play a week which is where I have the problem. It clears up on its own on or after January 1st. Thanks for looking into this. |

Having same problem...after getting thru one season (started the league on Jan 1980) and on October 25, 1980 I cannot sim with auto play to jump ahead. I have to sim using "Finish Today" option, one day at a time.
Thank you, GS. |

Markus has checked this with the files that were ftp'd and he could not reproduce this issue. However. ftp your game files that are giving this problem (Just follow the directions I gave above). Post the name of your ftp'd file here and I'll reopen the bug report and see if we can nail it down.

Just for completeness' sake, when you Autoplay to a forward date, you're selecting the date with the Autoplay feature and inputting the new date, not using the RTS feature above it, right?

During the off-season, I use auto-play to sim ahead one week. I dont use RTS.
I'll get my league in question to the off-season and verify its happening again, then send the files again. |
