New to OOTP. Please help
Hi, I'm finally going to purchase OOTP13. Heard so many great things. So what are the steps to actually getting the file up and running. Download OOTP13 then load 13.5.22 on top of same file? Do I need iOOTP? What is it?
Any help would be great before I screw things up LOL I just don't want to assume anything. Thanks |

You don't need iOOTP - that is a version of OOTP for IOS devices like iPhones, iPads etc (and maybe Android too, not sure.)
You should install OOTP13 and then check the version number that appears in the very bottom middle of the screen - that will tell you if you need to install any further patches. The current version, for example, should say Version 13.5 Build 22. If you have an older version then go ahead and download the patch, and just run it - it will install itself over your OOTP install, which is fine. Then you're ready to go. At that point you can start the game and if you want to start with the 2012 MLB rosters, you can click on the Quickstart Game, select Majors and it should load up the MLB with 2012 rosters. Good luck, it is a great game. If you have any questions feel free to post them. These boards are pretty helpful.

If you downloaded direct from the OoTP site it should be the most recent version

Also, some general advice: Take in the video tutorials and take advantage of the online manual. At least skim through the manual to see the topics it talks about. You can always go back and search it for specific information as you need it.

Starting a MLB league with everything correct as per season start 2012?
As the game doesn't come with the official logos etc., what is the most efficient way to get an "authentic" MLB game going?
On ootpmods I have found the logos, caps and jerseys. Do I have to upload all of those manually, or is there a quicker way? Would I start a Quickstart Game or go with the New Major League Game option? |

Once you've downloaded it, the button will change to "install". Install that, and all the graphics will be in place. From there, just click on "New Major League Game" on the main screen and you should be pretty much ready to go. |

Lastly: There is another file 2012 all in one mod (part 2). What's that about? |

IIRC, the All-In-One mod will work for leagues that you start after you install the mod. The "part 2" mod only applies to leagues you've already started. |
