Any Interest in Mixed History League Starting in 2011

Hi guys,

Long time online league commish and player who has taken a break over the last couple years after the birth of my son.

I have run long standing leagues like the HPBL and the UMBL. I also ran a Mixed history league. The thought of a random debut online league always interested me, and I tried it once without much sucess.

I am looking to start a new online league as it seems that there are not as many as there used to be.

My question is, would there be an interest in a random debut league starting in 2011 and adding players from history going forward. This would truly put everyone on an even playing field and eliminate eras such as the deadball era and the steroid era.

Players would be imported based on the remaining seasons of the career, and would use the OOTP development engine to determine player progression.

Also keep in mind, that this would not start with all players from 2011, but it would also be a mix. If you have any interest in this kind of league, please email me at rewc27(at)verzion(dot)net.

If there is not enough interest in this kind of league, I may look to start a modern day league or a straight historic league.
