Finding Foreign FA

I am in an online league but I think this is the place to ask.

Our league had two foreign leagues that we folded, we then turned on the option for the game to generate foreign players. They appear in our FA pool every year. It seems like they are taking major POT hits and retiring out of the blue. I am trying to find these players without having to go through the transaction logs from the last 3 seasons and check every player that has been signed in free agency to find these players.

Can anyone think of a simpler and/or quicker way to track these players down?
I have not kept the messages that announce their arrival in the FA pool.

I looked through the league News that dates back 14 months and I could not find the message. I am assuming it is not one the game saves.
