Trading for other teams question

Right now I have an offline fictional league where I'm in Commissioner mode and also the GM of one team. There's a really bad team in my league who is about to lose their best player (one of the top 10 in the league) to Free Agency in the offseason and I'd like to trade him for them and get a ton of prospects to help them rebuild. I don't want him on my team since that's just cheap, so is there any way I can do that for them? Their AI will never do it on its own unfortunately.

I'm sure I could probably quit my team and become the GM of theirs but then that means their GM will get fired and my team will hire one and it just messes everything up. Is that the only way to make a trade between 2 teams that aren't mine? Thanks for any help.

As Commisioner you can force any trade you want to.

Yes. Don't quit your team. With Commissioner powers, in your manager's menu, choose Act As the team you want to manipulate. Then go to that team's menu and select Trade Player(s). Set up the trade that you want and, if it's not to the second team's liking, ram it down their throats by clicking Force Trade. Laugh maniacally when you do this. Then, go back to Act As and resume control of your own team.

EDIT: Oops. A nod of respect to colleague Bluenoser.

Speaking for myself and Bn, our pleasure.

EDIT: Bn will say: "Speak for yourself, Yankees fanboy."
