Lower the age of 1901 star players
So I decided to restart my historical league from 1901. When i was playing through the first time, i was sad to see that some of the older players in 1901 never got into my hall of fame. they just didn't get enough games played. So, I've decided to lower the age of anyone in the real hall who played prior to 1901 (age 25 to be exact).
Is there anyone else who has done this? Can anyone think of any repercussions from doing this?

They'll play later into the future. Maybe they'll cause future good player call-ups to get held back or traded because they're being blocked.
If you want a closer-to-real-life simulation just start in 1871 and fast sim it out until 1901. Or you could add the real hall of famers to the hall manually, obviously they'd be missing some stats though. Personally I like the subtle play with history |
