I know I have to do some resizing. But here is my first 'edited' logo and my first 'Fontworks' logo. They are very simple and primitive, but that suits my abilities. And yes, I'm way too proud of these simple achievements.

this is the first logo I successfully removed the background from.

I'm going to have a period in my dynasty were alot of the clubs have Athletic Association/Athletic Club as the nickname. legofarley suggested using letter cap logos. This one is the first I completed for the Chicago-Culver Athletic Association.

So again, illeracula, DCHepler and legofarley, thank you for your ideas and direction.

No problem! Nice work on both. I know removing a background can be difficult in GIMP. I would also suggest playing around with all the different options in FontWork to see what they do. You will find many different things you like about it.
