Pitches per Inning

Hi guys,

Is there a stat available or a way to determine which Starting Pitcher in a league has thrown the least pitches per inning?

I was watching a real MLB game last night and they actually posted information showing which starting pitcher in MLB had thrown the least pitches per inning. Turned out to be Edwin Jackson of the Nats.

I don't know if there's a way to see that stat (somehow I doubt it), but if you can, I'll bet three or four of my guys would be near the top of the list.

My young KC pitching staff reminds me of the old Dan Quisenberry quote about Renie Martin: "Some pitchers throw to spots, others throw to zones. Renie throws to continents."

In a player's game-by-game log, it should show his pitches in each game. Not sure if it gives a total at the bottom of that page, but you could pretty easily add up the pitches by start and then divide by his innings thrown.

But this might be a nice little addition for Markus to add in a patch or future version.

I would like to see this info for all starting pitchers in the league, in order to see which pitcher is the most efficient among all starting pitchers.

Post it in the impressions thread or send Markus a DM or get his attention somehow. That's the best way to draw attention to your idea.
