Warriors/Nets
What is Danny Ainge's problem??? He keeps talking down about Earl Boykins. The guy is the main reason for Golden State's turnaround this year. Ainge keeps refering to him as a first grader playing with the high school boys. The guy can play. Just because he's only 5'5" doesn't mean you have to criticize him the whole game.

Ainge is and will always be a cry baby.
One of those players that I would never want on my team. I'm sure he's enjoyin watchin the Suns finally play to their potential now that he's no longer the coach of that franchise. Hopefully he never finds another job in the NBA. What exactly is he doin now anyways? |

I don't know who the sidleine reporter for tonight's game was, it was Sal something, but he was terrible. At the end of the first half, he said to Derek Fisher, "You could tell you really wanted to make that shot at the end there." "Uh, no, I didn't want to make it." He asked some other dumb questions, like, "is this game really even important?"

That's because he's used to his job over on ESPN for their X Games events. I don't think he's used to the NBA job yet.

listening to some of these guys, it seems as if anyone can be a sideline reporter.
where do they find these people? I can do a better job. I'm sure mostly everyone in these boards could do a better job. |

It's weird, he stutters, and gives a "street" flow to the game. Every word out of his mouth takes about 3 tries to come out, and it usually is along the lines of "wow, what a great shot" or "he's good".

If I taped one of his reports and pushed it into an old, likely extinct in 20 years VCR for my child, nephew, whatever (assumin this kid knows nothing about Tim Hardaway) I am sure that the kid would never guess that Tim Hardaway had one of the most explosive moves in the NBA and incredible handling skills. I'm sure that kid would never guess that Tim Hardaway played in the NBA. Hardaway just sounds plain dumb. He's almost as terrible as that dreadlock guy on ESPN. You know who I'm talkin about. Where...where do they find these people? Who, in their right mind, decided that Tim Hardaway would be a good analyst? |

I don't see the connection you're making about communication skills and intelligence being relative to athletic ability. That just totally flew over my head.
About Ainge. I hated him when he played for the Celtics but loved him on the Blazers. Hey didn't he play baseball too? http://www.baseball-reference.com/a/aingeda01.shtml
