Sorry if I got you excited with the Subject heading...no, I haven't made such a program, unfortunatly I'm not a programmer...but I was wondering if anyone with such experience was thinking of creating a program that:
Would be run at the beginning of the season that would create a season preview magazine that included: --All the big free agent signings (maybe over 4 million or those involving All-Star players) --An analysis of each teams strength and weaknesses going into the season --Predictions for the playoffs and maybe even for league leaders --Anaylsis of player trades made during off-season I think Pure Sim has something like this, but I haven't seen the final alpha version...I'm not sure this is something that could be programed by anyone here, but a guy can always hope! Of course, it sucks when someone says, "Why don't you guys do all the work and make me happy"...but anyone else in middle managment or teaching can relate! just kidding!Anyways, I'd be interested to hear what you have to say, and see if anyone else would like such a feature...I currently do a mini-version of this each year for my 20 team solo league, but everytime I get done I think to myself that "there's got to be a better way..." This would be a great idea
but I think the issue is (1) need a programmer and (2) need access to the OOTP databases. Don't want to speak for the .400 team, but I think if they got a serious programmer who wanted to give it a shot, it would be possible. If the result of such a "pre-season" program would be an HTML report - that would be great in my eyes

Sorry, that's just a mock-up, no program exists .

I wondered where you got that when you posted it on the CDL board. Did you just do it by hand?

Kserra that's a great idea, and I do believe there are a few on this board that could probably do it. Hopefully this will become a reality sometime in the future!
