Suggestions for using the MLB quickstart

I'm looking to create a league using the MLB quickstart with the 2012 rosters that come with the game, but I want to make any modifications to make the game as realistic as possible before starting. I already made the fixes to the minor leagues that jhart05 posted in the sticky thread about the rosters, and I turned off league evolution. I'd like to make any other necessary adjustments and then create my own quickstart.

What other changes do you guys suggest as far as turning certain options on or off, or how some settings are configured?

I believe the quickstart is set for 30 rounds in the Rule 4 draft. With 6 levels of minors, you might want to up that to 35, I think.
