Three minor gripes when playing out games

I admit these are minor and do not affect the simmers. I play out most games and these things are annoying:

1. When you need to decide whether to bring in a right or left throwing reliever your substitution screen does not show who is coming up for the opponents. Each time you have to go to the opponent's substitution screen, see who will be hitting for them in the inning and then go back to your team's substitution screen to select a pitcher.

2. Your team is up to bat. You may or may not have noticed by looking at the field that the AI has brought in a relief pitcher. The relief pitcher is not announced in the text until you initiate the play for the next batter. I have had few instances where I missed that a new pitcher had been brought in until the next play was already over.

3. This is quite minor, but I wish the game would pause and wait for a mouse click after the game starts and the opening descriptions of team records, weather, wind , starters etc. are made and before the first game play is announced.

I am with ya. I don't think the game didn't have those who like to play out the games fully in mind and more concerned with simmers as navigation through the menus for subs are not fluid enough. At least in 12 and looks like 13 is the same way.

These same suggestions were made in the past. But I think they have merit. So, I'll create new entries in the bug database to draw Markus' attention to them again.

Infractions: 0/1 (1)
These ate all good points that have been brought up before. Hopefully Markus will implement these changes one day.

According to OOTP itself, OOTP MLB play (modern and historical) outnumbers OOTP fictional play three to one.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.
