Starting online league help!?!

OK, so I've gone through the manual to try and set up an online league for a buddy of mine and myself. However, I'm getting hungup on the FTP settings. I do not know where to find them. Also, do I need FileZilla or something like that?

Once we get that figured out, how does the league work? I'm guessing we cannot play any games out vs each other online, correct? How do things like the draft work?

Sorry for my ignorance but I've never tried an online league before and I'm much more used to the console online leagues that are pretty much plug and play.

u will need to setup a folder on ur server called like game or ootp and make a few folders in there like league file , reports(if ur gonna upload reports to ur site) large league file. then u goto ur cpannel on ur web host then u will need to create a ftp account for the game or ootp folder what ever u named it . u input that ftp info in the game under online league settings and ull need to put the url path or the relative path to the corresponding folder that its and then test that it sees the folders on ur server

if u search youtube.com for ootp ull see 2 videos for ootp 12 online setup thats pretty much the same for 13 so u should watch them

Thanks! I got most of it set up. The only issues I had were:

I did not get an option to open league files after deleting the PHP server script files

I cannot get the e-mail to pass the test even though I am entering what I get from the e-mail client on the site.

Are any of these issues?

Also, now what do I do so that my buddy can get the file?
