Inaugural Draft -- does the AI 'cheat'?
I tried twice to set up a fictional league with an inaugural draft. I hired the best scout I could find (legendary in all scouting ratings) and ran an inaugural draft. Both times I ended up with an absolutely terrible team. The preseason prediction and power rankings had my team last. I ran a season in one of the games and finished around .200 win % though I did peak at around .333
I drafted the first 20-30 players of my team on my own using the scouting ratings from my 'legendary' scouting director. I auto-drafted all of the other teams and the draft from rounds 30ish on. Does the computer AI use actual ratings when it drafts? I clicked use full complete scouting system in the global setup. Does that only apply to the human GM? I thought the AI would use it's teams' scouting director to evaluate talent. any input would be appreciated, thanks |

I wouldnt think so cause if the computer had an advantage by seeing the actual ratings how could we explain the bad drafts or trades the computer may make? I mostly play historical so im guessing that the scout gives the same info it would have given to you and the ai makes it decision based on that. I dont think the ai had an advantage.
