? on batting stats

Ok maybe I'm reading to much into this. I go to a players page, click on battling stats, I then click onto that years battling splits, look down at the bottom of that page to see stats like batting lead off, batting second, etc etc. Lead off stat, is this lead off position, or is it leading off the innning, or both?

This is a feature that was added in OOTP12 -- hardly anyone noticed, I guess.

Didnt have 12, actually skipped 12 and 11 too. Glad I did get 13 however. Very much improved over X which was the last one I owned.
