Create yourself as a player with the same birthday/name as your manager persona?

Player Manager
Not a big forum guy but I figured I would post a definitive answer on this. I was playing a historical re play from 1871 and started with a AAA team in my home town in the 1880's I drafted Piggy Ward who only played 221 games in real life. He made it to the ml in 1886 in the sim and was stuck on the bench so even though he was only 22 after 3 seasons I decided that he would go back home buy the AAA team and be an owner/manager. So I retired him made him a coach, signed him unretired him and signed him to a minor league contract. I have not tried It at ML level but if it works at AAA I don't know why it wouldn't work for the bigs.
