Absolutely! Thats how i play my league. The three division champions and five wildcards. They are seeded by record 1 to 8 and yes you can have either a fixed bracket like the NBA does or you can have all the teams reseeded like the NHL and NFL does at the start of the next round. Oh yes..the playoffs are very customizeable. The only thing you cant do is have a double elimination tournament. Which is what I REALLY want when i have 16 teams making the playoffs. I would have double eliminations until the league championship series...then play the best of seven of the LCS and the WS

One thing to note is that I don't believe that it will re-seed after the first round and I don't think that you can manually change opponents. You can change the schedules but not the pairings.

oh no...i have done the playoffs with his NHL type setup and yes...at the end of a playoff round...the lowest seed will face the highest remaining seed in the next round. If thats how he wants it to setup or he could use a fixed bracket like the NBA does.
