The InteGREATed Negro League mod for OOTP26
After a year of work to add an additional 435 player Major League Equivalencies (MLEs) to the OOTP MLB database - 647 total - covering the Negro League and the Latin leagues from the early 1900's to the 1950's, it is my pleasure to present an OOTP26 compatible version of the mod for your enjoyment.
The instructions for loading the mod are even simpler than OOTP25's version (no Advanced Menu in the Wizard needed). Inside the zip file is a pdf guide that I worked up to help you quickly get started. Thanks to Garlon and all the mod makers that made adding NeL and 19th c. uniforms, logos, ballparks possible. These files add so much to the effort and I am in their debt. I'll write more later, but for now, you've been waiting to take these players for a spin long enough. Here is the download link and the Steam version should be up later today. https://www.mediafire.com/file_premi...mod26.zip/file Have fun!

Tomorrow I'm going to upload revised versions of the 15 parks that are not currently auto-loading and fix a few typos in the logos/jersey files. Also included will be a new pdf Guide with all the players listed and their import IDs for people that bring them in one at a time. As for database projects, I intend to slowly work on the other league MLEs. I also need to turn my attention back to the facegens as this effort has borrowed by time from that one.

As noted previously, the mod was released with 15 team home stadiums (14 actual parks) not auto-loading as NeL teams appeared in the game. Thanks to silvam14, I've been able to troubleshoot the 3D models and they are now loading. I have included updated file folders for these parks (and a few random uniform and logos which had typos or too narrow a year range tagged to them) and have made the supplemental download below for early adopters of the mod to grab and just get the adjusted files. For the parks, I would delete the park folder you have in its entirety and swap in these as a full replacement to avoid file conflicts. There is also a new era_ballparks.txt for placement in the /database folder so it synchs.
The pdf Guide has also been updated with all the players listed so you can see if someone is included and have the import code for their MLE version. Just select this modded odb file and import them like any other free agent. The download link at the top of the thread already has these updates included. Steam version now updated. ![]() Here is said supplement: https://www.mediafire.com/file_premi...Ted26.zip/file

I’m trying to set up a new game using the inteGREATed OOTP mod, but I’m having trouble following parts of the PDF setup guide. I’m hoping someone can clarify a few points.
First, if I’ve already subscribed to the mod through the Steam Workshop and installed it via the in-game Workshop Central, do I still need to follow the PDF’s instructions about moving folders manually? From what I can tell, the Workshop installation seems to place everything where it needs to be. I’m assuming the manual folder instructions are only for people who downloaded the mod directly, but I want to confirm before I move on to the game-creation wizard. My preferred style of playing historical career saves is as follows: • All MLB and real minor leagues enabled. • All historical players (MLB + minors + Negro Leagues) appear in the draft pool each year starting from 1871. • Player recalc turned off. • Development, personalities, coaching, and the colour barrier active from the start. • Not looking to recreate the Negro Leagues as separate leagues — my goal is simply to include the additional players from the mod within the existing historical structure. I tried to begin setting up a save using this approach, based on the PDF, but the guide recommends turning off the minor leagues in the wizard. That’s where I’m getting stuck. Turning off minors contradicts how I normally set up long-term historical saves. What I’m trying to understand is whether it’s possible to use the mod’s player set alongside OOTP’s standard historical database, ideally replacing OOTP’s built-in Negro League players with the mod’s updated versions and having all players simply flow into the annual draft pool as usual with my career historical saves. At the moment, it’s the “disable minor leagues” instruction in the PDF that I’m unsure how to work around for the type of game I’m trying to set up. Are there any easy ways to do this? Cheers for any help, I am looking forward to starting a new save with these updated guys!! |

For those using the Steam Workshop, the files require no manual movement. That’s just an advantage of Steam no matter the mod.
![]() So, the reason the minors should be off is that once you bring in minors you may get two of some players. If you turn off NeL MLEs and turn on real minors, that might be best for you. In a game such as that the 212 existing in-game MLE players won’t be as good and you may not even notice the dupes (as much). Give it a try in a quick sim.

Thank you for the help, that makes a way clear for me to set things up in my preferred set up. That's the absolute charm of this game. Given there is only 212 additional players, I may even be inclined to spend the time, as each appears, to search and remove the original and lesser capable version of each player or change their name. Cheers again for the help. |

There were 212 players... now there are 647. Just about anyone that would have translated into a player that could make an AL or NL roster. Some of those are folks like Jackie Robinson or Larry Doby - in those cases it's just a few additional early years. But others are legends like Smoky Joe Williams to bit players that have but a year that they were deemed AL/NL roster ready. The IDs were changed in the Master.csv but some of the players like Rube Foster exist only in the Minor League Master file and those are probably the ones that will emerge as dupes. If you are patient you will spot them in-play. The MLE ones have IDs in the editor page ending with -89. The revised instruction book has the names of all the players so if you don't have that version of the pdf, just redownload the mod in Steam and reinstall it in Workshop Central and the new one will overwrite the old. Never tried it with minors on - let me know how that experiment goes.

It's more the timing you need to watch; which version predates which.
Because the mod versions incorporate the conventional DB IDs but not vice-versa, if the original version predates the modded one, it will enter the game and then the modded version will come in via the 99 or 89 version, giving you two. However, if the modded version is already in the game, then - as far as I have seen so far - the non-modded version is skipped because the game sees the conventional ID in the editor of the modded version. God love your thoroughness Lans. G

This will be my next league to setup then, alongside the 3 other's I'm spinning. Thanks for the further insights above and Luckymann's observations too, much appreciated. |
