Ootp 13 os?

Will OOTP 13 work using Ubuntu as an operating system?

My Windows 7 recently crashed prior to being able to download the game...I am using Ubuntu as an operating system now while I wait for my windows recovery disc in the mail.

In the meantime, would I be able to download the linux version and play in Ubuntu? Then download the windows version at a later time?

Also, is there a limit to the number of machines I can download to? Can I download one linux version and one windows version? Same computer...just different OS?

The Linux version requires a new license so to play it you will have to buy another copy
The game comes with 2 licenses but they work only on mac and PCs, the Linux version is different

When you purchase OOTP, your license is good for two uses, so you can have the game installed and licensed on two different computers at the same time.

PC/Mac license works on both platforms.

Other licesnses are not cross platform compatible and must be purchased seperately.

So if you buy the Linux version you cannot use it on the PC/Mac computer.

You could run the Windows version of the game with wine. Just works fine with Fedora 16 though.

Thanks Guys.

I think I am just going to wait until Saturday when my recovery disk is supposed to get here.

I was hoping I could download one linux version now and one windows later.

I am also hoping/assuming that I will be able to fix it. I got a happili virus and my windows stopped working. Not sure if they are directly related. I think I fixed the virus but windows still isnt working
