FOOL-X is an established (2009) fictional league using OOTP-13 (required to own) and is very fast paced.

What are the advantages to a fast paced sim-league?

A new season is simmed every week with the entire regular season sim occurring in one day (Monday morning). This means if you are dealt a bad hand to start, or go through a rebuilding time, it only takes a few weeks to get back into contention. In other OOTP online leagues, a rebuilding process might take a full real life year or longer. In some cases an online league could fold before your team even has a chance to compete. You get a chance to build an organization and see players that you drafted either become something great or fizzle out. In the course of 3-4 months you get to see the full career of league greats and possibly see their inclusion into the hall of fame. This is a rare thing for most online leagues as only a handful of them ever make it 15+ seasons. FOOL-X has played over 140 seasons, an older sister league, (FOOL), has played over 200 seasons. So, the format is well-established, works great and has a dedicated commissioner (hyde4us11, not me). This league focuses on the off-season transactions of a GM like signing free agents, drafting of prospects, and making trades and above all picking the 25 guys for your season.

Currently, the London Bishops are available. A former powerhouse with records like 9 consecutive league pennants and 4 consecutive Fool Classic championships, they've only made the playoffs once since that streak ended in 2058. Lately, (2107) they've served as a farm club for the rest of the league because the AI doesn't know how to re-sign players. Can you be the GM that restores this franchise to greatness?
