My grandsons Elite team league!!

I've really been enjoying OOTP13 more than ever after applying the text to speech item and getting the bigger fonts with the latest patch. Been great listening to a 59 White Sox World Series replay with audio for pitch by pitch!

Anyway, I'm working on a fun but difficult task of trying to setup my 8 1/2 year old grandsons elite baseball team he was on this summer. He did very well with 4 homeruns and I thought it would be neat to do some fictional stuff and then put in his pics and my younger grandsons and their friends and some of the other players that were on his team.

I used the NCAA template that is available and got things started. It was fun putting in Connor and Jacobs pictures and names and playing an exhibition game with the announcer on.

Fun stuff. I was just wondering if anyone has ever tried this before for little league and if there are any special ballparks etc that would be suited for a little league setup. I'll keep searching.

You can take a personal photo of where your grandkids play and import that right into the game for a ballpark photo.

The dimensions are purely cosmetic but you could input realistic ones in there too

Did he inherit his baseball skill from his grandpa?

Hmmm. Nope, he didn't get that from papaw. I was a pitcher for one little league season (a sub type little league). I did pretty well but never was a good hitter. : )

Connor and Jacob got to play 3 innings today. Jacob got a couple of hits and an rbi and Connor got 2 hits with one of them being a homer over the left field fence with Jacob on first. They loved it! Uh...I didn't tell them the other teams pitcher was exhausted. Oops...

This is great for kids especially. Now I have to get a park pic and enter all of Connor's other teammates etc. Work work work.

But they left a few hours ago so I'm back to playing some OOTP13 2005 White Sox!!

Finally figured out how to add my fav avatar when those precious grandsons were a tad younger!
