leopards changing spots

One very minor improvement i would like to see is that when a player retires and then comes back as a coach or manager that they retain their ethnicity.
I've noticed this from time to time and while it's annoying it's not the most important change.

Mostly I wonder how they explain things to their families when they get home.
"Honey I got a job coaching in A ball but I had to agree to becoming a pasty, middle-aged white guy to get it."

*lol*

Seriously though, I just checked the code, and both ethnicity and facegen data is properly 'inherited' when a player turns into a coach, so I have no clue what happened in your league

It sure was weird watching Babe Ruth come back as a short Chinese woman...

I've seen this a bunch as well. When looking at one of my coaches, I pull up their player profile and it looks like a different ethnicity. I manually change their photo until they are closer together. Some of the ethnicities have quite a variance of skin tones so maybe they are the same ethnicity, but different sides of the skin color spectrum.

That's like Sammy Sosa, except for the coaching part.

I've seen it too. I would think that the exact same picture should transfer though.

I noticed it is a weird bug in facegen. Every once and a while when the game generates "same picture" for a guy with a new uni the ethnicity changes. I have clicked on same picture to update a uni and a guy went from Caucasian to AA! Not common but it has happened.

I've seen this too, many times. It seems to be pretty common to me.

I used to see this all the time... before ootp 12 that is. I thought they finally got this right?

I haven;t seen it reproduced in any of my 12 leagues.

So if you hit select the "Same Picture" option, it seems to fix the issue. I tried this when I saw uniforms weren't updating consistently and noted that despite the "Same Picture", I sometimes got a new one, often with an ethnicity change.
