Playoff Roster Question
My starting shortstop, trying to pull off a double play, just got hammered by a runner. We had to cart him off the field and according to the doctors, he should return in about 4 weeks. It is 26 August with the playoff roster due at the end of August.
If I put my shortstop on to the 15 day disabled list, will I be able to place him on my playoff roster? |

Yes. Here are a couple of hints FWIW
Consider putting anybody who has even a DtD injury at this time on the DL. It is cheating but it sure helps when you get 5-6 injuries in the last week of the season. I had enough legit injuries to end up with 31 playoff eligible players.Don't demote a playoff eligible player to help out in the AAA playoffs. That removes them from the eligible list. This may be a bug or broken, I don't know how that works IRL. I'll submit a ticket. Put 60 day DL players who have zero DL time back on the active roster in September. When setting up the playoff roster put them back on the 15 day DL. That will allow you to add a player from the 40man roster. It also protects them from the rule 5 draft if you forget.
