Spring Training

I started a 1994 league. There have been some intereresting offseason trades, including Chuck Knoblauch to the Pirates. I have advanced the league from January 1 to March 1 and there is no indication of Spring Training.

The season doesn't start until April 4 but shouldn't there be a schedule of exhibiton games in March?

I will see if I can help....

Select "OOTP" drop down box in your game screen.
Select "Game Set Up"
Select "League Set Up"
Select "Options"

On the right half of the screen near the top there should be "Spring Training Options" and a check box..

I hope this helps...

If I recall correctly spring training does not occur in the inaugural year of a league. It only starts happening after the first season.

LGO is probably correct but I know i had a ST for teh start of my 1999 season. Next to Finish Today. The drop down menu that shows Start of season, All Star Game etc...if there is a Spring Training it should say which day it starts on. I would be surprised if it started on the 1st of March. You will have 24 games. 1st day of Regular Season of 1994 started on 4/4 for the White Sox...So ST of 1994 should start around the 10th.

Thanks for the help. This ended up being a dumb question. The Spring schedule is not generated until you actually progress to the first day of Spring Training.
