Pyx - An ancient pugilism universe

This will be a different approach for a universe - a ancient panhellenic pugilism one. At first and in the spirit of the Olympic Games this will be a single-elemination tournament universe. At some point I may introduce the Roman Empire which launch prize fighting to this universe - from the arena of Pompeii to the mighty Colosseum of Rome. At beginning all free male Greek citizens were entitled to participate in the ancient Olympic Games and other tournaments, regardless of their social status. The Olympic Games (held at Olympia in honour of Zeus) are the oldest of the four panhellenic tournaments which composed the periodos, or circuit games. The other three are the Isthmian Games at Corinth (held in honour of Poseidon), the Nemean Games at Nemea (held in honour of Zeus) and the Pythian Games at Delphi (held in honour of Apollo). To win all four Games in one period (four years) is the main goal for any athlete and will award the honorific title of periodonikes.

All athletes are created with the Random Fighter Generator (Middleweight, with realistic overall ratings), but I will alter all names to be (more or less) historical accurate. For instance:

Every fights will last 15 rounds. If a draw happens there will be a rematch. Aging will: 'Pre-Prime' 1-4 bouts, 'Prime' 10-35, 'Post-Prime' 25-60, 'End' 10-20 and 'Retired' 8-20. I will simulate three years of fighting to settle some records (new fighters will be introduced every year). After that, the universe will start with the first Olympic Games.

Year 1 Olympic Games
Year 2 Isthmian Games
Year 3 Nemean Games
Year 4 Pythian Games
Year 5 Olympic Games
Year 6 Isthimian Games

et cetera.

First of all, thank you bear. To be honest, I've never thought about it. Currently I'm adding some 'love' to my uni (e.g. adding different banners for the greek city states). To get an idea of it this might be the city flags of Athens and Sparta

But it is a nice idea to post fighters and ratings. Maybe I could start directly with the first olympionike.

Just a small update: finalised my fighter database (picture below). Now I'm able to simulate the first years of my universe.
