Any Way To Edit Postseason Events?
Unfortunately my fictional owners & GM's dont know that expansion is planned for November 25th right after the Winter Meetings. Several of my teams are signing Free Agents from MLB and making trades, but in this expansion teams only protect 15, which means many of these signings will be picked up by 1 of the 4 new teams.
I would like to be able to edit postseason events such as Arbitration hearings, Free Agency filing date and Rule 5 date, since all of these will be skewed by the X draft. |

Is this not a perfect use for "prevent all AI roster changes"?

Why not raise the protected limit? In all honesty, you really shouldn't be using anything less than 25 given the way OOTP works its expansion draft. While in real life the draft is structured so that all existing teams lose the same, or nearly the same, number of players. OOTP expansion drafts have no such provision. A higher protected limit helps reduce the chances of an existing team being unfairly looted of talent

I change certain things each offseason..for next yrs draft its only 4 rounds 2006 its 13. Depends on how many players I have stats for. Part of the reason I want certain teams like mine to get looted ( I lost 7 players) and Glenbard who I played in the WS ( they lost 5) with 7 incoming players all of which are HOFers is 1 it makes the teams more evenly matched and 2 it clears out the mid level players from being backups behind HOFers for the next 5-10 seasons. In test leagues I was happy with 15...in my ABF with 4 levels of minors I protected 25. |

Change start date would be good because in Real Life Winter Meetings start tomorrow and Rule 5 Draft is on last day of the Winter Meetings on Thursday. Also the Game doesn't have GM Meetings and Rule 5 Draft isn't done like in Real life.
