Quick help with Database question

I've been playing OOTP since OOTP 8, and I have a decent understanding of how to get the mods I want into the game properly so that it'll play to my preferences. But I have a quick question that I do not know the answer to, that I was hoping the community could help me with.

I am currently still using OOTP 11. While waiting for OOTP 13 to release, I figured I would start a new MLB season in OOTP 11 for some entertainment while waiting. Here is my question - is there a way to use the current, up-to-date database so that the players who debuted after the release of OOTP 11 (including those whom have never made the majors to this point in real life) will appear in the draft?

Put another way - I start a new 2010 season with the rosters that were pre-loaded with OOTP. But, with all the new players that have been added to the database since then - I would like them to become available in the subsequent drafts (obviously they will not be drafted necessarily to their current real-life MLB teams), so that by the start of the 2012 season, my universe will contain all the players, both MLB and prospects, that are currently available in the most up-to-date database that will go with OOTP 13 when it comes out?

Any help would be appreciated greatly.
