Are pitcher stats dynamic as the season progresses ..
When it comes to stuff/movement/control do they change throughout the course of a season or are they set at the start of the season and stay static.
Also, I think some of the stats need a bit of tweaking come next version .. where is Verlander btw, he was coming off of 18/19-9 seasons and throws 100mph in the late innings and he isn't considered a top 20 but Strasburg is? ![]() King Felix and Lincecum with STUFF in the 60 range while Latos is at 100 ![]()

Do you mean ratings? Stats are produced by playing games. Ratings can and do fluctuate.
BTW all player ratings fluctuate.

Are you playing with scouting on? If so, then the ratings you're seeing are done by the OSA, which is a very inaccurate general scouting group. In actuality, the ratings are different (and likely much closer to the way that most figure they should be).

They change daily in game. To really see it you will need to document each day of ratings and compare. There are a few Mod tools that have a development report that breaks it down by date. I have used but not installed them. Someone on here will be able to explain the ins and outs.

OSA sure has a hard-on for injured players.
Simmed through the first season and handled all off-season duties and am starting my first playthrough of the 2012 season and OSA has Strasburg/Wainwright as the #1-2 pitchers even though they didn't pitch at all last season. My ratings for Lincecum went up a bit from 59 to 65 but now he's ranked 3rd by OSA while Latos who had a 13-4 / 2.90 ERA season went down to 14th best. I think I'll just ignore this report from now on, it doesn't make any sense.
