Speeding up the game

I've played fifty seasons now and things are starting to get a little bit slow. Anybody have any ideas for speeding things up?

Delete news reports, game logs, game replays, and box scores, they are in your saved game folder. Go to game setup and under auto save, don't save anything except the game.( I recommend once a month)

Under game setup, player and picture, click delete those who never reached the majors.

Under game setup, then league setup, then go to options. Select a lower stats detail. For all majors and minor leagues.

Under ootp preferences, select auto-play display then select simple dialog.

Those are the best ways I know to make it faster.
