Question about Spritze High School DB

I set up a fictional league using the current MLB setup and started in the year 1870. I have Spritzes database downloaded and the first draft pool has been revealed and it shows players from the 1970s.

Does this mean something is possibly messed up with the version of the datbase that I have, or is there something that I might have done incorrectly?

If you started in 1870, I think the issue is that the Nation Association didn't start until 1871, so the game is pulling 1970's players since there aren't any 1870's ones. That's just a guess though, since I don't play historical or semi-historical.

I didn't think that the league setup would be an issue.

OOTP does not support leagues prior to 1871.
