All arbitration eligible players not showing up on Salary Arbitration page?

See images attached. Gogarty's contract page shows he is arb eligible but he does not show up on my Salary Arbitration offers page. We just converted from 11 to 12, not sure if that is part of the problem. Gogarty was on the 60-day DL until I moved him to the active roster, perhaps not being on the active roster when Arb starts has something to do with this? I also noticed I have a guy in Triple-A who it says is eligible for arb but he is also not showing up on the Salary Arbitration page. Seems like a bug, no?

The Gogarty example sounds like a bug, yes.

As for the AAA member, my thinking (again, I am not at my computer at home so I cannot test it) is that since he is not on the major-league team, he would not automatically appear for arbitration. It would only apply if they were on the major-league team. But again, I can't be positive entirely.

Thanks. It seems weird to me that just because the other guy is in AAA he wouldn't appear. If a guy is arb eligible I think he should show up on this screen. You could have a high salary guy down there and get burned.

I guess it depends on where you're looking. A players contract status page will tell you a player is arbitration eligible even when they're on a minor league deal, that's why I asked.

Then that's a bug. A player is only arbitration eligible after 3 years of major league service, which can't be accumulated with a minor league contract.

This sounds like a matter for some LGO clarification.

There's a player in the minor leagues, has a major league contract, does not spend any time on the major league roster during the season, is not on the 40-man roster, has enough service time to be arbitration eligible.

Should this player be receiving arbitration? In OOTP they're not. They don't show up under the arbitration screen, don't receive an arbitration award, and on the free agent filing date they receive a minor league contract.

In real life this player is eligible for arbitration since he has more than three years of service time but less than six years to become a free agent.

In the game it looks like he is being offered arbitration automatically at league minimum. I wouldn't say that's "right" but considering he probably isn't that good of a player in reality he wouldn't warrant much more anyway.

It sure seems to me he should be. If he has a major league contract he should go through arb and the team should be forced to make a decision on giving him a salary again or cutting him.

This is also why I think the arb report screen needs to show all players in the org that are up for arbitration. Not just the guys on the MLB roster.
