League file question

Hello To All.

I am a new commish and have a league that is going to start in the next 3 weeks. I have produced the league file. Its a 16 team fictional league. The league file that I have generated is 7.7 MB. Is this reasonable or does this sound small. To me it sounds reasonable...no stats....a new league...but i could be wrong.

It has the players (but they are all in the draft pool) and 16 empty teams. Someone asked shouldnt this league file be like 100MB (something that they have seen with league files from OOTP 11 and previous)

Also my league file is named:

http://xxxxxxxxxxx.com........file/F..._League.tar.gz

Is it supposed to have a lg extention at the end near the gz? Sorry for the primitive questions!!

And I am on a mac! Just thought i'd throw that piece of info in!

That's not small for a new file. It will grow quickly though. Also, did you upload the images too, or just the basic file? Images will add size to your file.

No images...just the basic file.

To join the CBU, the full file is 250 MB. It started as a 32 MB file as a full file though 2 years ago.

We have 16 teams...its 7.9 to 8 MB large (i just added the last team)

yea that fine for a startup file it will grow

my league HRBL started small but i added teams from 20 soming to 34 and added a second pro league and feeders for both and so thats alot more players and pics so now went from like 15 to 230 mb so smaller file is better but it will grow every season u finish once u get league history in it and more players and pics
