Quick Question

For fielders, does having a high error attribute.. a good thing or bad?

Might have more questions eventually, being new and all. I'll keep it simple for now.

Thx

I assume you are asking about "Infield Error" or "Outfield Error" (for example). High ratings are definely a good thing. High ratings translate to low numbers of errors.

Where can you find a list of scouting reports to show development in the minor leagues? When is this page updated?

The Player Development Report shows changes both in the majors and the minors, but only in a few ratings areas. It's available anytime from the team reports page for each franchise/system. It is updated each time your scout rescouts your franchise. You can toggle it between current ratings and potential ratings, and you can select the period of time to be covered in the comparison.

This report won't show you anything about defense, speed, or most other ratings -- only contact/power/eye for hitters, stuff/movement/control for pitchers, and overall (star) ratings for everyone.

Hope this is what you meant.

Mrking:

First, any rating that is green/blue is good, yellow middlin' and red = bad.

I do not know any way to see a screen with a minor league team's roster and stats. I wouldn'ty mind being told how.

But you can easily check on individual minor league players. One way of course to is to go to your team pull-down menu and select "roster" and then select "listed players: entire organization." Right click a player and open his profile.

I just discovered this: go to your team, on the pull-down menu select "minors," at the bottom of the screen pick "minor league system report."

Here you can not only access individual performance stats so far in the season, as above, but you also see recommendations for promoting or demoting players within the minors. Be aware that once you follow the advice on a player (e.g. demoting from AA to A) you might immediately be advised that he is ready to be promoted back.

Use your team's disabled list. You can use the drop-down menu to select a minor league affiliate, and you can toggle between ratings and stats at the bottom of the list. You also get to see who is on the D/L in the other pane.

For each major league team, there is a report called "minor league system report" which shows some basic stats for each player and whether the AI thinks the player could move up or down a level. It doesn't show changes from previous reports but is always up-to-date.

EDIT: Sorry, this has already been posted above. Sorry for the double post
