100 rating

I had been wondering for a while, how if, a 100 manager rating for a season could happen and what it would take. I had seen a few 75's come my way

Then in my new season came a shock
a 100 manager rating

My Pittsburgh team was a 93 win team its first 2 seasons, no major leaguers included yet, all fictional
We started 1902 10-1, then played poorly through may to be .500

I made one trade, top 22 year old AAA cf to st louis for their 22 year old #4 starter. A good deal for both sides.
We change fortunes. He wins 13 games, make the playoffs with 97 wins.
Need 7 games to beat Houston in the semis
Need 7 games to topple first place San Francisco in the final
(took a grand slam in the 3rd do it)

And there came the 100. Not exactly sure how it was calculated by the AI, but at least now i know for sure it is possible

My belief, based on casual observation, is that to get a 100 score you need to:

(1) Get to the playoffs

and then:

(2a) have a winning percentage above some level (it seems with 154 games a 100 win season generally...but not always...gets you a 100) even if you don't win the playoffs,
or
(2b) win some number of games above the wins you were predicted to have before the season started (this information now available in the preseason prediction report) along with winning the playoffs.

I've seen it happen if you 1) win the championship, 2) are the winningest team in the league. Also seen it happen when the team breaks the wins record for a season.

I also think that Owner Expectation comes into it. I have had better scores when the team wasn't expected to make the playoffs, let alone win than when it was predicted and the owner wants "To win it all" again...
