World Template Help !!!

Ok all you smart tech peeps .. Help a fellow gamer please 8)

I downloaded the new MLB quickstart .. Fired it up this morning ..

I then saved the template, exited OOTP12 ... Reloaded game and started a custom game using the new quickstart template ...

Deleted all the minor leagues except for AAA, AA, A .. Then proceeded to add 3 college feeder leagues and 4 HS feeder leagues ...

Set all my settings how i wanted them .. Clicked start game ..

Game begins loading up .. I start getting that "start of a season" feeling ........................................

During loading process, while populating/loading nations ... the Game crashes and closes at 11% everytime ...

Game did not do this prior to today .. anyone with an idea?????

Have you amended the quickstart, to need to load it as a template? Otherwise you can just select 'start MLB 2011 game' (or whatever it is on the main menu).

Many people are reporting template crashes at 11% or 12% of 'loading nations'. I believe one of the OOTP team has confirmed this is a known bug. Not sure if it will be fixed in the first patch or not.

I submitted a ticket .. maybe that will help !

To answer your question ... I did change some things which is why I cant use quickstart ... I removed R and S-A leagues so it requires a template load..

Any1 know if Markus has posted anywhere that this is a bug they plan to squash Thursday?

Just putting this out there in case it was not known ...

I was getting the "11% loading nations" crash when loading a built template which i was told is being fixed via patch ...

However, now I am trying to finish editing team names (etc) within the template so it is ready to go on thursday ... and now game is crashing everytime I try to SAVE template ..

All of this just started happening to me 8( ...

Is this also a known bug that is being squashed?

I haven't messed with 12 yet, but I will say that I had problems making templates and quickstarts involving big feeder leagues.

Wow...wish I would have known this a couple of days ago. I have been fighting it hard, trying everything I can think of to fix it. Can anyone link to a post in which it was acknowledged and/or promised for a future patch?

I was told it was going to be fixed through a ticket I submitted ...

However, I have not seen a fix for the issue yet.. I have asked around the boards several times since 12.1.11 and gotten no answer from Markus or any other devs..

I have submited another ticket and have not gotten a response back this time.. (it has been several days, last time i got an email response within couple of hours)

I am hoping the issue was not swept under the rug, but since I have been ignored lately on the topic I am beginning to wonder ...

Tech support was finally able to reproduce the template error ...

I was told a fix is already been placed in next patch .. Here's to hoping it happens

Here's to hoping that whatever "fix" it is pertains to most if not all template related crashes, and not only MLB QS specific ones...
