possible bug - wrong box scores

I just started spring training in the second season of my fictional league and simmed my first game. I clicked on "box" to check the box score and the info in the box score is for a different game, my team isn't even in the box score. I simmed several other games on the same day and subsequent days and the same thing happened, the teams listed in the schedule don't match up to the teams in the box score. I had played an entire season and this never came up, just started the first day of spring training of year 2. I was using the first patch when it first happened, then upgraded to the latest patch (.11) and it still happens. Anyone ever have this happen? I fear my file is corrupted.

I haven't seen this happen, but I'm assuming it's pointing to the correct "game id" for that game's box score, but for whatever reason, the box score from that game id this season isn't overwriting the box score from that game id *last season*, so you're probably seeing last season's box scores.

Unfortunately I have no idea what could be causing that as I haven't seen it happen yet. Did you change the location of your OOTP saved game at any point between year 1 and year 2? Could that saved game location have accidentally become read-only? Although if that were the case, OOTP wouldn't be able to save any of its progress. Are you only having issues with the box scores? Does everything else (news, player history, player stats, etc.) seem to be saving OK?

If you exit the game, go back in, and navigate back to those spring training games you simmed, what happens if you check the box scores again? Are they still incorrect? Have you tried accessing the box scores from the teams' Schedule screen to see if they are also incorrect there?

If everything else seems OK but only the box scores are misbehaving, the only thing I can suggest is try opening a support ticket - see if Markus wants to look at your league file and figure out what went wrong.

The box score is actually from spring training 1961 and I am in 2011 (I simmed the first 50 years). I opened the player profiles of some of the players in the box scores and they are 87 years old, 78, etc. and retired.

I didn't make any chages to the saved location. Everything else that I have checked does seem OK. In the daily schedule of games, I clicked on the winning and losing pitchers, home run hitters, etc. and they all looked normal, current players. The pitchers even show fatigue in the team lienup pages after they pitched. So it seems like everything else is working OK.

I did try setting up the league again (I had saved the basic 1961 setup as a Quickstart) but it crashed after simming about 25 years. Something may be bad in the Quickstart but it was pretty basic.

No change after exiting and going back to the simmed games. I haven't checked from the teams' Schedule but will try that.

I did open a support ticket, haven't heard from Markus , et al, yet, but I think they're probably kinda busy on other stuff.

Thanks for your help. I appreciate the thoughts.
