vesting contract question

when you set a year as a vesting option and make the deal that a year kicks in after a certain number of starts is that number of starts based on the previous season or all previous seasons totaled together?

I hope this answers your question...

Your vesting interest option year is invoked if the previous "seasons" goal is met. So for example in year 3 of a 4 year deal with the 4th year based on obtaining 20 starts, if the picture does in fact get 20 or more starts in year 3, his forth year of his contract comes into effect.
