Well, since I found the answer below already, I'll ask a different question.

Do you guys take the first job offered to you? Especially in my situation where it took nearly 5 years for one to open up.

I started an ABA league in 1951, simmed up to 9/1955 before I was offered a job with the 'A' level Santa Monica Barons.

Is there a way to look up the previous manager to check his record and whether he moved or was fired?

Not sure really why I want to know this, just curious I guess.

I've been playing since OOTP 7 and I have never waited for a job. I usually sim for 10 or so years. To build a base than Apply for any team I want, and get the job. I don't ever remember that any of those jobs weren't available.
