Facegen only works in Troubleshoot 2 mode?

I moved my OOTP 11 game to OOTP 12 and my facegen won't work unless in the preference area under facegen mode I choose troubleshoot 2 instead of the normal default mode....Any Help???

I believe the troubleshoot modes are there if for some reason your computer's setup/components are having issues support the default Facegen setup. If it's working fine for you in troubleshoot mode 2 then continue using it that way.
