Ive probably simmed a couple hundred seasons thus far and this is the first time ive had one of my players career be ended by injury. Joe Kennedy my 24 yr old ace for the Devil Rays. Thought this was pretty cool actually.
This happen to anyone else? |

In my 24-team league I've seen one person go down with a career-ender each season (I'm in year 3 now). I wonder if that's the average?

I have had at least 5 people on my team have career enders and maybe another 5 out for season in my 22 year league and its usually pitchers (could this have to do with over pitching in my 4 man rotation?). It is very frustrating especially when u got a guy that could be the next johnson or maddux or martinez.

I did something I told myself I would never do when my young ace went down with a career ending injury, I edited him back into action. I justified it by telling myself that the doctor just misdiagnosed him. I know, it was wrong.

In my Japanese league that I started last night, I edited the league injury file so one of the Career Ending Injuries is "Moved to USA", pretending that some guys will try and make the move to Major League Baseball.
