Drafting question

All,

When you are doing an inagural draft, how do you get a overall view of all your current picks?

I realize you can look at the log but you have to go one by one. I tried going to the team page but nothing is there yet (I assume since they are not really part of the team yet).

Also, where is the option where you have to negotiate salaries for these draft picks?

Thx

As far as I am aware, there is not a screen to view all of your current draft picks. The only thing I could think of would be trying your team history page and looking at the draft index. Have you tried this? I am not sure if it updates instantaneously, or not. Give it a try.

As far as negotiations, those will come immediately following the draft. You have to sign players by August 14th, or thereabout.

Hope this helps. Maybe someone else will have a more definitive answer about reviewing draft picks.

The players are in your DFA area.

Sorry but what is DFA area?

I would like to see a complete overview.

Also, I noticed that sometimes when I draft a player at a position, the number increments inside the parenthesis instead of the other number. Why is that?

Going through the manual and there isn't much info on this

Thx

The number not in the parenthesis is who is on your current roster, and the number in the parenthesis is the total in your organization. The DFA is under the team transaction screen. It is "Designate For Assignment." The players need to be put on your main roster or assigned to the minors. All the players are there you have drafted.

Early draftees who want slot bonuses won't yet be in DFA; you can't negotiate until the draft finishes, so there isn't really any screen where you can get an overall picture of your draft choices.

Unless I am reading this wrong, this is an inaugural draft and not the Yearly player draft.

Indeed. I read it wrong.
