Rain Delay Question
I was playing a game and in the 4th inning I had a 59 minute rain delay. So when it ended my starter was tied. But since I didn't have anyone warming up before the delay, I had to continue to use my SP until my reliever was ready. I'm not sure if I just missed a button that say to pause and let someone warn up or not, but what do you all do in this situation?
Thanks. |

There's no penalty (for the human manager) for having relievers warming up from the start of the game so if the weather forecast suggests that rain is a possibility I usually have a couple ready in the early innings. It doesn't affect the AI (which isn't constrained by the warming up option). A number of folk have suggested that the AI should also be subject to the warming-up rule but I think Markus has said it would be complicated to make it work properly.

Having a conference on the mound gives some time for your reliever to warm up.
Depending on how kamikaze you feel, you could intentionally walk the first batter and then keep throwing over to first until the reliever is warm.

also u didnt have to keep your SP in after he was tired just bring in a cold reliever as long as he is decent he wont be affected ( you can do this for non rain delays also)
