Suggestion: Player Development Screen

The graphical roster only seems to show players at a position if they are in the lineup at that position or are assigned that position on their card. I think it should show any player who has a rating at that position. Otherwise you can't use the screen to evaluate who can play where. For example, my SS may also have a good rating at 2B, but if he isn't in any of the lineups at 2B or have 2B assigned as his position then he wouldn't show up as a 2B on the chart. This means when I have an injury at 2B, I can't jsut look at this screen and decide who my best 2B is. I may be better of switching the SS to 2B and using my backup SS, instead of using the backup 2B. Yes, the lists would take up more room but I think it would be worth it to get the complete picture.

I am conflicted. If listed under all rated positions then my fat future 1B with a 1 rating at SS would get listed under SS & 1B, doesn't seem ideal. If the player's name could also include his other positions maybe that would help.

1B
John Doe (1B, SS, RF)
Jack Hammer (1B)

i like it as an additional view added it to the drop down list. But i wouldn't want it as my only view. As Riverdome described some of my players are rated at positions where i wouldn't use them.

I think Riverdome's idea of listing other qualified positions after his name would be the most usefull otherwise with some players they would be listed everywhere. And perhaps you could set the minium level to be listed e.g. if John Doe was rated 9 at 1B, 2 at 2B, 3 at SS and 7 at 3B he would be shown normally under 1B with (2B, SS, 3B) after his name but if you set the minimum fielding to 5 it would just show 3B after his name

Those are both good ideas. I like a separate view for all qualified positions. Also listing the players qualified positions after their name would be helpful.

If there was a filter to specifiy a minimum position rating that would be useful too. For example if you specify a 5 players would need at least a 5 rating at a position to be listed under it.
