Is there any way to make the game go full screen?

Under "preferences" either on the first screen that loads or from within the game it is under the OOTP dropdown menu at the top. I set the resolution to match my monitor (1920 x 1200) but leave the windowed selection so that I can still minimize it if I want. This fills the screen. If you use the full screen option then you have to alt-tab to get out

I found that to get this to stick, you have to shut the game down & reload.

Going to full screen and/or windowed mode should not require a restart. Changing resolution (including going to maximized resolution within windowed mode) does.

Thanks for clarifying... I didn't read the OP correctly. I was changing size of the window, not going to full screen.

Even that can be done without a restart; change resolution, click ok - no effect. Go to full screen mode. Go back to windowed mode; the earlier change to resolution now applies.
