Don't you just pick the year when creating a new league?

Yep. So, I guess you change the starting year to 2003 by typing in 2003.

Based on what I'm doing now, once you add the roster set, you'd have to start a new league in 2003, and then individually import each player into the new league.
On mine, I converted each playerID to x#+1, so that I can more or less easily import players without typing aaronha01 or whatever each player's ID is. That can be done easily in master.csv in Excel and then you can use the VLookUp function in the batting, pitching & fielding files to automatically change the old playerID to the new one. Then again, not everyone wants to spend weeks doing this, I assume. |

This is what I did for my 2003 roster set:
1. Edit the stats in one league. 2. Create a second league, and sim until the beginning of 2003, simming thru free agency, amatuer draft and spring training. 3. Copy the players.dat file from the 1st league to the 2nd, and voila, 2003 roster set is complete. |
