Having problems auto-loading jerseys/caps

I'm using a 2010 mod from Padrefan's site created by Reds1.

The jerseys and caps have the logos already attached to them so there are no separate files for caps and caps logo and likewise nothing for jerseys and jersey logos. This is nice, but I cannot get these to load or better yet auto-load.

When I create a new league, the jersey comes up blank for a team and not the one I have in the OOTP/jerseys folder. Same for caps.

I can easily go in and load these manually, but to do this for each MLB/MiLB team is tedious. Shouldn't these auto load when I create a new league? Why are blanks ones being used? FWIW, the cap has a logo but for the Tigers (example), the "D" is blue and not white. When I load it manually from the folder they are placed in (OOTP/jerseys), it shows up perfect.

If I can't get these to auto-load when creating a new league, is there an option to load these across my universe? I know there are such options like this, but it doesn't seem there is one to specifically load the caps and jerseys.

Please help?!?!?!

Have you made certain that the file names for all jerseys and caps are identical to the city and team names as displayed in-game, with the extension .png after the file name?

Ok that was it! Thanks a lot. There were numerous jerseys for each MLB team so I had to pick one and readjust the name.

Next question if you happen to know: When I go and look at the personel for the Braves now, they have a crazy/wrong ballcap. How can I go about adjusting these all (league wide) WITHOUT it actually changing the personel/players faces?

In other words, is there a "update all jerseys and caps" feature? The one I see seems like it might update more than just jerseys and caps!

Now as for your question, the only way I know to do this is by updating the player pictures in the "edit team colors and logos" screen.

Once you've made sure that the proper caps & jerseys have been uploaded, click on "update all of this team's player pictures" and that should do the trick.

I'm assuming you're using facegen files for all players, so their faces shouldn't change at all. Only their caps and jerseys should change to the right ones you've just updated.

Just give this a try and let's see if this works too.

EDIT: now, this won't work on a league-wide basis. You'll have to go team by team.
