A Created League???

Can someone help me?? I would like to create a league with, say, 8 teams. And then play a shortened schedule like maybe 100 games. Is it possible to create a special league like that?? For example take 8 teams from the 65 season and I would play the Dodgers against the other 7 teams? Can someone tell me how?? thanks for helping a newbie.

Unfortunately there is no schedule customization in the game.

Also, it appears you can play an 8 team league, but only in the fictional setting (so you wouldn't be able to play a custom historical league.)

Note - I don't have the game (yet) so I'm not totally sure this is correct, but no one else had replied so I figured I'd give it a shot.

Thanks for taking time to answer. Sure wish I could design an 8 team league with real historical teams.

Please take into account that we a) deal with limited hardware and b) limited screens size. iOOTP will never have the full feature set of OOTP. But we always look into improving iOOTP with free updates and new versions. Customization will be something we will look into but I can not say what direction it will take in the future.
