Blue-Gray Baseball Fictional League Forming

The premise behind the league is here.

http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...-needed-2.html

Here is where we are with logos for now. I am working currently on getting everything ready to go by the release date so we can get started right away.

North (14 Teams)

Coastal Division

New York Yankees

New York Titans
(I'd love to have this circular and remove the LaCrosse reference.
Boston Patriots

Baltimore
I'd appreciate this in a circular logo as well if you use a secondary color please use yellow.
Pittsburgh
Philadelphia Liberty
(I'd appreciate if someone could change background to red)
Detroit Chargers

Western Division

Cincinnati Steamboats

Chicago Lokies

St. Louis Thunderbirds

Minnesota Cross Cutters
(I'd appreciate if I could get Connecticut changed to Minnesota.
Colorado Bears

Los Angeles
San Francisco Miners
(I'd sure appreciate if someone could put it in a circle)

South (10 Teams)

Atlantic Division

Richmond Battery

Tennessee Cavalry

Carolina Palmettos

Georgia Generals
(I'd sure appreciate if someone could change the hat and letters to grey and put it in a circle)
Florida Sharks

Gulf Division

New Orleans Cajuns

Dallas Bulls
I'd appreciate if someone could make this a circular logo similar to the rest.
Houston Roughnecks
(I'd appreciate if someone could take the Oakdale off for me)
Havana Buccaneers
I'd appreciate if someone could make this a circular logo similar to the rest. Make it black and gold also
Monterrey Sultanes

Alright guys, I'm dying on ideas for Los Angeles. Any suggestions? I've looked at hundreds of logos and read about the history of LA. I'd like to keep the name historic and have thought of the Presidio, Commodores, Missions etc. Nothing seems to be sticking for me......help !!

Some League Specifics

League name: Blue Gray Baseball League (BGBL)
League URL: Blue Gray Baseball League | OOTP Baseball
League type: Fictional
Number of clubs: 24
OOTP version: 12 (We will open with 12)
Special league rules: Working on them at the moment. I've been pouring hours upon hours into this to get it started.

We will play a 120 game season. We will sim twice a week and sim about 8 days at a time. I'm still trying to figure out the best schedule. I'd like to complete a season about every three months (4 seasons per calendar year) We will start in 2000 and modify the financial coefficient to 80%. The rest of the details are being hammered out daily. More details to come as well as a backstory that I hope will be compelling.

No idea what your free time is like but one sim schedule I've seen work in a couple of leagues is, sim Mon-Tue-Wed-Thu-Fri and sim 3 days per sim or maybe even 4 days per sim. You'd get through seasons pretty quickly and with just doing short sims there wouldn't be pressure on GM's to export each sim, I personally wouldn't do the 8 days per sim as it takes away part of the game ie the 7 day line ups, actually never understood leagues that sim more than 7 days as imo the more days you do per sim the more you take the game play out of the hands of the GM.

I agree with you. If you sim 8-9 days per sim, GMs can't use 7-day lineup.
